Creating safe space
We help create safe and welcoming environments where women and girls can speak freely, share their experiences, and be heard without fear or judgment.
Empowering Women
We provide skills training, mentorship, and empowerment opportunities that help women become self-reliant and economically independent.
Community Engagement
We work closely with community leaders, parents, youth groups, and local stakeholders to promote equality, peace, respect, and positive social change
Advancing Zero Telarance to Female Genital Mutilation (FGM/C) Through Community Empowerment and Rights - Based Advocacy
Implemented by Voice for the Voiceless Woman, this community-led project drives rights-based advocacy and grassroots empowerment across Sierra Leone to protect women and girls, end female genital mutilation, and build safer, more resilient communities.
About Us
Who We Are
Voice for the Voiceless Woman is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women, girls, and vulnerable individuals across Sierra Leone through advocacy, education, protection, and community engagement.
We work to restore dignity, inspire hope, and create opportunities for women and girls affected by violence, discrimination, poverty, and harmful social practices. Through collaboration with communities, local leaders, and stakeholders, we promote equality, inclusion, and sustainable social change.
Our goal is to build safer and stronger communities where every woman and girl can live with confidence, purpose, and dignity.
Empowering Young Voices for a Safer Future
Across Sierra Leone, too many girls continue to face harmful practices that rob them of their childhood, education, safety, and future. But through the growing impact of School Clubs of Influence, young people are beginning to change that story.
These clubs are creating safe and supportive spaces where students can learn, speak openly, and stand together against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), child abuse, early marriage, and other harmful practices affecting girls and vulnerable children.
Through awareness campaigns, peer education, debates, drama performances, and community engagement activities, students are becoming powerful advocates for protection, equality, and positive social change within their schools and communities.
By equipping both boys and girls with knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills, the School Clubs of Influence are helping to build a generation that believes every child deserves dignity, education, protection, and opportunity.
Their voices are inspiring families and communities to understand that protecting girls is not the responsibility of a few — it is the responsibility of everyone.
Together, through education, strong coordination, and community involvement, we can build a Sierra Leone where every girl is safe, empowered, educated, and free from harmful practices.
